We arrived at Clarke Quay a little early for our Wine and Tapas night, so we decided to kick it all off with some Sangria and Churros!
Octapas is right on
the river front at Clarke Quay so the people watching is quite good at night. The
staff seem a little slow to take our order, which ended up being two glasses of
white sangria and one order of Churros (Spanish doughnuts with choc dipping
sauce). The sangria was ok (we could definitely
tell it had alcohol), with the churros being not bad as well. However, don’t be expecting San Churro’s
(http://www.sanchurro.com) standard here at Octapas. So not a bad way to start a night off, we might have to try some more of their menu before making a judgement call on whether Octapas is worthy of a regular appearance…
