Now you cannot come to Singapore and not try chicken rice (no it's not called chicken and rice, just chicken rice), it's one of their national dishes. You can get chicken rice pretty much everywhere. The Chicken Rice Express is in our hood, so we go here quite a bit. I generally always get a soya chicken rice set (see picture) which includes chicken, rice, greens, broth and a lime juice. James usually opts for the hong kong noodles and mixed vege's. The lot usually costs around SGD10 so it's a very cheap dinner!. It's very hard not to get a good chicken rice anywhere and this place is no exception.
